Application
After you've submitted an application, if you meet criteria and we're keen to know more we'll give you a quick call.
Health Questionnaire
Health and safety is super important to us. We'll email you some questions to give us an understanding about your current health and medical history.
Interview
If we're keen to meet you face-to-face we'll contact you by phone or text to arrange a time that suits.
Depending on the role, 1 or more interviews may be conducted.
Reference Checking
With your permission, we give 1 or 2 of your most recent managers a call to help us get a better idea of who you are and how you work.
Pre-employment Tests
Prior to making a formal offer we do require you to complete a few pre-employment checks and tasks (MOJ conviction history, ACC history, and drug test).

Genia is a Greek word Γενιά (Geniá) translating to “Generation”.
For us, Genia represents many things:
- Our long history with timber, the generations of the past, and the experience gained and passed on.
- The new generation of people, our current team and the motivation to grow and build on what we have.
- The future, our desire to succeed beyond our own generation, and the aspiration to build partnerships that stand through time.
